Odyssey Earn makes multilingual contribution tasks available
Odyssey Earn gives participants a clear path to complete translation, transcription and captioning tasks, with current reward and cash-out terms shown in the product.
What is available
The current Odyssey Earn experience brings translation, transcription and captioning tasks into one mobile-first participation flow. People choose the languages they use and can review the task and reward information shown before taking part.
Approved task rewards move into the participant's available VP balance according to the task rules. The product currently presents Airtime and PayShap as cash-out methods.
Why it matters
Language work is more useful when it reflects how South Africans actually communicate, including multilingual and code-switching contexts. Earn provides a direct participation surface for that work while keeping the activity visible to the contributor.
